it includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects the way in we which we think, feel and act. Over the course of life ,if you experience mental health problems, your thinking, mood and behavior could be affected.
2. EARLY WARNING SIGNS:
Eating or sleeping too much/too little
Pulling away from people and usual activities
Having low energy
Feeling helpless/hopeless
Hearing voices/believing things which are not true
Thinking of harming yourself/others
Inability to perform daily tasks like getting to school/work
3. TYPES OF MENTAL HEALTH:
Anxiety Disorders:
It causes people to experience distress and constantly being fearful.
SYMPTOMS:
Panic Attacks
Nightmares
Obsessive Thoughts
Fear of leaving the house
Mood Disorders:
Having mood changes ,one minute are the most happiest person ever and the next you are the most horrible person ,you feel sad. Mood disorder can be linked to depression and bipolar.
Dementia:
Having memory loss.
The most common forms of dementia include:
Health conditions (Head Trauma,HIV)
Substance-Induced dementia (example: Drugs/Alcohol abuse)
Eating Disorder
Eating more than you should do, eating out of stress.
