i did not have words,

the right words to say to you and myself,

letting go is probably the only thing that is left,

i hate how much i allowed you in,

now i have to pretend like you were never part of my life,

every memory i hold dearly,

the smell of your scent still lingers in my nose,

your voice still wanders in my mind,

how could you allow things to be this way?
